Overview
This configuration pairs a manually operated socket and plug for a detachable coolant connection. It is distinct from blind-mate mounting because an operator must access and connect the two halves during installation or service.
Construction and interfaces
The reference illustration shows separate socket and plug bodies with different end geometries. End termination and mating-interface revision must be identified together; the image does not establish the size or order code of each pictured part.
Selection
FITOK's UQD02 table separately lists a 7/16-20 UNF-2A straight-thread socket and plug example and a 1/4 in hose-tail socket option. Specify both selected ends and the OCP UQD interface revision before checking coolant, flow direction, pressure drop and service access. The documented Cv values are coefficients, not rated loop flow.
Configuration options
The FITOK series reference lists a 304 stainless body and EPDM seal as standard, with 316/316L stainless alternatives by request. Select the socket and plug as a controlled pair; their end terminations, seals and wetted parts must match the actual order codes, not merely the main photograph.
Application limits
FITOK lists a 16 bar UQD02 maximum working-pressure reference and a -20 to +150 °C series temperature range, but the selected pair, seal, coolant and installed assembly require confirmation. The brochure gives no OCP interface revision or cross-brand mating test. The series photograph is an appearance reference, not proof of either listed end code or site supply.
