Manufacturer reference configuration. Values and conditions apply to the named reference; the supplied configuration requires separate confirmation.
Overview
This point sensor monitors a selected cabinet, drip tray or pipe-joint location rather than a long continuous sensing run. Its combined optical and electrode method is a different procurement choice from cable-only detection.
Construction and interfaces
The product photo shows the round sensor housing, fixing tabs and integral cable. The maker describes optical and electrode sensing, internal potting and an RS485 interface; the pictured item is the XW-DC-01A page reference.
Selection
Check whether the coolant is conductive, whether liquid-type distinction is needed and whether the monitoring controller supports RS485/MODBUS-RTU. The listed DC 9–30 V supply and IP66 statement apply to this reference model.
Configuration options
Mounting location, cable routing, bus address and alarm behavior should be specified for the installation. No universal glycol detection threshold is implied by the sensor's general description.
Application limits
The maker's protection class and temperature range do not replace a test with the actual coolant and physical mounting. Distinguish this dual-principle digital model from the relay-output optical-only XW-DC-01B.
