Coordination can organize component descriptions, clarification questions, quotation assumptions and a shared revision set. The owner of engineering approval, supplier selection, inspection and logistics must be specified for each enquiry.
Repeat supply needs controlled changes
Capture the approved configuration, evidence package, packaging and communication path. A later material, interface or document change should be reviewed against the original acceptance basis before a repeat order.
